Its common that Mysore classes start around 6am. Its always a question of whether or not it is best to eat before class. Often, I find that a bit of food is required before class. I like to keep it really light and drink a lot of fluids. I usually wait to drink coffee until after my practise.

Some things I like before morning yoga:

  • Hot water with lemon (My favourite!)
  • Tea
  • Fruit
  • Yoghurt 
  • Oatmeal or Muesli 
  • Juice

What do you like to eat/drink before your morning practise?
